A nice one drop affair for all you to enjoy in the lockdown ! MariJah was inspired by a chant like track with the voice of Jah Melodie/Bagga T I was working on when she visited the UFO studio. Must have been when she visited the studio for the first time and started our collaboration. Next visit she came back with an innitial idea of Love to Chant. We've been working on and off on a couple of tracks for the last 2 years. Some nice music will see the light of day soon. Love 2 Chant is our first official release.
Immediately during the recording I could hear Saimn-I's voice in a counteraction style on the riddim. Sending him the vocal & riddim it was clear he could hear the idea too as 2 days after the stems to the counteraction were already in my mailbox.
I had great fun mixing this riddim. Hope you enjoy it too ! ! !
